• Hayk Vardanyan is the head of the Culture sector at Genesis Armenia. He is a manager and an opera singer.

  • He was born in 1986 in the town of Alaverdi and graduated from the Faculty of Management at the French University in Armenia.

  • In 2007-2017, Hayk Vardanyan ran both Armenian and international enterprises in various fields. He is a co-founder of several companies. Vardanyan was also at the head of various cultural institutions in parallel with his business and managerial activities.

  • In 2011-2013, as a director and producer Vardanyan led the National Quartet after Komitas, then the Naregatsi Folk Instruments Ensemble and the Naregatsi Art Institute.

  • He took his first steps in opera in 2012 and embarked on a career as an opera singer in 2017. He made his debut in Milan in 2019, performing as Alfredo Germont in Verdi’s La Traviata.

  • Since 2019, Hayk Vardanyan has been the director of the Opera Studio of Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory, and since 2020 the director of Friends of Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan Foundation.

  • Hayk's hobby is chess. As a matter of fact, in 2000 he became the winner of the Armenian Youth Chess Championship, took the bronze medal at the World Chess Olympiad and was a member of the Armenian youth chess team.

  • Hayk speaks French, Italian, German, Russian and English.
